The South West corner of Mallorca is favoured by many as a location for the future holiday or permanent home. Famous architects and designers like Pedro Otzoup have built spectacular villas and complexes on the hills around the port with stunning views of the sea and the surrounding landscape for their discriminating clientele. For those who are looking for a more quiet and rural pace of life there are small villages like S'Arraco or Capdella, much favoured by artists and nature lovers.
